How to place your order:

Regardless of how people place their order, they must tell Ron Paul staff that their purchase is in support of Archwood 55 Plus Seniors Centre, so Archwood gets credit for the sale.

Seniors' Falls in Canada - Infographic - Canada.ca
Falls are the leading cause of injury among older Canadians with 20-30% seniors experiencing one or more falls each year.
Falls cause 85% of seniors' injury-related hospitalizations, 95% of all hip fractures, $2 billion a year in direct healthcare costs, and over one third of seniors are admitted to long-term care following hospitalization for a fall.
The average Canadian senior had to stay in hospital 10 days longer for falls than for any other cause.
Falls can result in chronic pain, reduced mobility, loss of independence and even death.
Fifty percent of all falls causing hospitalization happen at home.
Injuries due to falls rose 43% between 2003 and 2008.
Deaths due to falls rose 65% between 2003 and 2008.
The good news is that falls are preventable and action can be taken by all.

November 6 - 12, 2023
Eight million people in Canada live with chronic pain, a condition that can affect every aspect of a person’s life including physical and mental health, work, play, and relationships. More than 500 people attended for the first Putting the Pieces Together virtual conference in 2022.
The conference name, Putting the Pieces Together, is inspired by Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. We see ourselves like the re-imagined artworks - no longer in our original form but, instead, taking on a new beauty and strength, reinforced by our many connections.
