The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service is aiming to reduce the number of calls for warm weather illnesses and injuries that we respond to. As a part of this initiative, we have developed a presentation that highlights the ways that older adults can mitigate these problems by educating them on the importance of hydration, use of sunscreen, proper outdoor attire, among other things.
